I’ve had my hair colored for years and BB Salon is the BEST salon I’ve ever been to. Every stylist there is awesome, especially Jess! My hair is much healthier and looks great thanks to her recommendations. I look forward to every visit!

Do not go here. I was looking for a place to get my hair done for an event. Ahead of time I explained in detail what I wanted, sent pictures of my hair and what I was looking for. I spent 4 hours in this salon getting it done and $350 later my hair was darker than it was before when I requested it to be more blonde with highlights, it was the complete wrong color and when I informed the employees I was offered no refund, not even a discount. I was told I could come back but I cannot since my event is too soon now. My hair looked almost exactly the same when I left as it did when I went in besides it being darker when I requested blonder. She did the highlights and then toned it took dark and my hair was literally brown. No apology, no discount or refund. nothing. What a waste of my time and money.

I found this salon while living in St Pete and after moving, I still have flown in from PA, CA, HI, and now CO to return here for appointments because the level of service is top notch. All of the stylists are very talented and always get compliments on my hair. Would recommend to anyone.

I looked all over for St Pete for someone to do my hair (I am very picky, unfortunately) and I’ve been a loyal client for 2 years to Jess! I’ve also seen Dani and both are amazing at what they do!

I received a cut and highlights from Kait. The cut was mediocre at best. She brushed my hair aggressively from top to bottom while it was wet and just bleached, was she trying to damage my hair on purpose? She spilled bleach on my blazer that costed over $150. She did not offer any compensation or discount for my ruined clothing. If I would have known bleach would be spilled, I would have taken off my blazer. At the beginning of the appointment, she stated that I could keep my coat on “because it’s cold”. I trusted this stylist because I was paying a lot of money for the service as well as the positive reviews I briefly looked over. The highlights were good, although I felt she could have done more with the $445 I paid. When I told her areas that I would like retouched at the end of our session, she gave me reasons why she doesn’t need to do it… I contacted the salon and asked to speak to the owner about my issue with the bleached clothing. I was told I was not allowed to speak to the owner and that I could speak to the “manager” instead. This manager tried to say that Kait warned me beforehand to take off my blazer to “avoid any issues”…. If that was true then I would have immediately removed it because I don’t want my things ruined. Still, I was not offered any compensation or discount for my service although my clothing was ruined. I am disappointed in the customer service of the manager and Kait. Lying about what happened to save your job isn’t a good look. Maybe Kait didn’t care about doing her job properly, she told me she was looking to move locations soon. Any response they give has the purpose to defend themselves based on lies, I have picture evidence. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! ***Edit for response to their response*** There was no mention in the texts of how you suggested to monetarily rectify the situation. You sound spiteful in your reply trying to mention what brand my clothing is from. White House Black Market is not cheap. There were multiple stains of bleach, and I am justified to go to small claims court due to my property being damaged. I said that there is a possibility of a legal matter and you want to downplay my ruined clothing item and gaslight by saying I threatened legal action due to a “spot of bleach”. You also did not respond about Kait aggressively brushing my wet and just bleached hair. You are also continuing to make up that Kait warned me to take off my coat when she did NOT do anything of the like. “Unfortunately, you chose to keep it on, and the very situation we hoped to prevent occurred”, The blatant lies are not appreciated. It is appalling that I was not offered compensation right when the bleach spill occurred. The people running this salon are cultish, unprofessional and liars.

Shelby was incredible! It was my first time getting my hair done in FL and I am so happy with how everything turned out! The salon in general was such a vibe and I enjoyed my few hours being in there. I’ll definitely be back and booking with Shelby again!

I’ve been to 4 stylists in St Pete and Kaitlyn is the first one who was able to deliver the perfect blonde! I left the salon feeling confident and energized instead of disappointed, a first for me since I moved to Florida. Friendly, funny conversation, with very thorough consultation and product education/recommendations. The shampoo bowls and chairs are so comfy, so if you have neck or back pain, this is huge. Everybody in the salon had a really good vibe. This was such a great experience and I’m so happy I finally have a salon I can settle down with! 💖💖💖

Highly recommend the salon & Shelby! They have fast responses/follow up, texting capabilities, and they truly care about your end results & salon experience altogether! For the first time, I felt heard in the sense that they took the time to go over what I really wanted, requesting/looking at photos, and talking it through before doing anything “permanent” to my hair. Shelby truly has the intention to send you home HAPPY rather just finish a client & onto the next. I never once booked another apt at the end of my apt, this time I immediately booked Shelby to do my hair a month later for my wedding rehearsal & dinner!

The product K-18 that was recommended by her is a complete life and game changer for these curls and thick hair. Kaitlyn is amazing! She got my blonde to the brightest level without making me gold or yellow. I’ve been trying to get this color for quite some time and other colorists have not been able to do it. I always walk out ashier and duller than I want. I’m naturally a dirty blonde, so she left the shortest area in the back of my pixie my natural dirty blonde color, but it contrasts very nicely against the bright (icy) blonde. She’s super personable and fun to chat with as well. I found my new colorist!
