Yelena has been my stylist for the past 2 years and I absolutely love her. She truly understands how to handle my thick, curly hair, and I always leave extremely happy with my cut and color. THE LOCATION IS A HOUSE, DON'T FEEL CONFUSED! Yelena has such an inviting and professional setup coupled with a smart personality. The atmosphere is wonderful and she provides informative demonstrations on how to style your hair yourself instead of just doing it quietly. She sells all the products she uses so you can try her hair care methods at home. I had a great appointment with cute results! ATTENTION, CURLIES: this is a good place to try if you've been struggling with cuts! Yelena is knowledgeable on different hair types and knows what products to give us lasting, bubbly hair.

Yelena has been an absolute miracle worker for my hair! I received a not so great haircut back in December from another establishment so then I found Yelena online and she was able to fit me into her schedule and she completely fixed it. I found Yelena when I was searching for a temporary hair stylist after my hairdresser of 7 years had rotator cuff surgery. I was quite nervous to go to someone whom I didn’t know nor had ever met. I knew from her website that she was Deva Curl certified which is what I was looking for. I made the appointment and will say that Yelana was so incredible that I told my original hairdresser that I would no longer be coming to her. What is it that I like about Yelena? First she completely examined my hair in relationship to my face and body. She looked at the texture and the wave pattern and then lastly she created a color that was rich, glossy and complimented my skin tone. The Deva Cut was perfect and brought my layers back to frame my face in just the softest way. While of course I love what she’s done with my hair, my husband and others have commented on how beautiful my hair looks recently! Lastly, her salon is impeccable and very modern! I feel like I am at a hair spa! I am so happy I found Yelena and would highly recommend her!

I’m really not the easiest to impress so there is definitely a reason I keep coming back to Yelena. She takes one look at a picture and knows exactly what to do with that many years of experience. I’ve gone for two haircuts and an ombré coloring which turned out better than I imagined it to. It’s also comfortable since it’s right at her basement but you feel like you’re at an actual salon✨

With mastery and professionalism Yelena created a whole new look for me. She changed the color of my hair which had been box dyed black for many years to a reddish blond shade that doesn’t show my grey hair too quickly. It looks neat so I’m very pleased with the result. I also went from long hair to an easily styled stylish short bob. I look much younger with bangs and feel like a girl. Yelena is truly talented and masterful with her craft as well as fun and easy to work with. She is able to please me time after time. My whole family are served by Yelena. I highly recommend her!

I’ve always been very satisfied with the cuts and color of my hair and she does a great job especially because most the time I don’t even know what I want done. I have been very satisfied with cuts, styles and colors Yelena has done over the years. From short and straight, to cutting for wavy hair- whatever it is that I would like, the style is lovely! I recently had the pleasure of visiting Women’s Haircut at Yelena Styles Salon and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The salon itself was clean, modern, and beautifully decorated. Yelena was incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and offered valuable suggestions based on their expertise. It was clear that she genuinely cared about creating the best possible result for me. Overall, my experience at Women’s Haircut at Yelena Styles Salon was outstanding. The service, and atmosphere exceeded my expectations. If I could give this zero stars I would I was looking for someone who was familiar with color correction I went to google and I found this woman I had paid $240 to get my daughters hair highlighted which in fact she did and it looked good. At that point I had mentioned that I wanted to go from my dark black hair, which is box die to a lighter blonde, and I knew I was going to have to go through a few treatments to get the box dye out. Without any hesitation, I had scheduled to come in and start the process. When I got there she had told me that it was going to be a couple treatments again I was aware of that. When she laid me in the sink she applied what smelled like bleach all in my hair almost like a shampoo. She drenched the roots and the ends and casually would come and stroke the hair while leaving me laying in the porcelain sink. I had advised her that the back of my hair was on fire literally burning a hole in my scalp and she just rubbed it and said a little longer it’s normal. I laid there in so much pain but I trusted her, biggest mistake ever. Once she washed the bleach out, my roots were completely blonde and the bottom was still completely dark she then said what toner did you want to do as if I had any idea lol, she mentioned a few and ultimately chose what she thought was good for her liking. Keep in mind I’m still laying in the sink and my neck was cramping and becoming sore while my head was still burning, she applied the toner and we waited but I had not seen it prior to her applying it, little did I know she colored my hair orange!!! I was literally mortified how did this color even get mentioned why did she not understand that I wanted blonde not orange. My hair is now several different colors and I have an abnormal amount of blisters on my head from the bleach she used. She was paid because I’m not out for a free anything but I would not recommend this woman as a hairstylist.

Worst hair cut I've ever had in my life. She was argumentative when I told her how I like my hair cut and my curly hair is so flat and ugly now. Only go here if you like flat, no layer curly hair. I'll stick to my $30 haircut places 🙄

Yelena is great! I've been going to her for my haircuts and eyebrow waxing/tinting for a few years. She cuts my 6 year old daughter's hair and have added tinsel to her hair. All her friends are jealous of the tinsel!
