One of the highlights of my year is going to see Amanda periodically. For years, my scalp burned as I would get my hair colored - with Amanda, there’s no burning and my hair looks lovely. She uses extremely high quality, clean, and nourishing products on my hair. She’s also a joy to be around! I wish I’d found her sooner. 1000% recommend!

Amanda started cutting my hair about 4 years ago. I was originally introduced to her by a friend who said I needed to be "packaged" better, and well, I guess she was right. After a year of mediocre online dates, I struck gold on my first date after the new hair style. I credit Amanda my dating success.

I cannot recommend Amanda and Atelier Upton Salon more. She is an absolute joy to be around and has extensive knowledge and experience doing what she does. We are so thankful we found her and are so pleased and happy with our experience at her salon. If I could rate more than five stars, I absolutely would! Love love love Amanda and Atelier Salon!

Atelier Upton is incredible, I could not recommend this place more. Amanda is so talented and skillful, and she just gave me the best haircut of my life. I found her through other positive reviews saying she’s trustworthy and attentive and that is the truth!!! She truly took the time to listen to me and saw my vision for my ideal hairstyle, then brought it to life. I am very hesitant with haircuts and trusting people to give me a good one, so for others who are coming from a similar place, I truly cannot recommend Atelier Upton more highly. Also, the products were great, and the ambiance of the whole salon is lovely. I didn’t know what to expect going in but hoped for the best, and got even better. Genuinely the best haircut of my life, I walked out feeling amazing.

Atlier Upton is the best kept secret in Nashville. As a salon, the atmosphere and personal touches are second to none. With only two chairs, it is clear that the focus is on service and community rather than churning out clients. Amanda herself is warm and inclusive. I constantly receive compliments on my color and cut. Regardless of if I just saw her or haven’t been able to make my appointments for a few months due to my own schedule. I both wish to spread the word and hope y’all don’t take my seat! ☺️

Must have been 5 or so years ago I began coming here to Atelier Upton to get my wily hair...managed. 🤣 Amanda does a stellar job, always. She brings plenty of (varied) experience to the table and if you have a clear vision of what you are trying to achieve with your hair, she will listen and work with you to make it happen. If you’re unclear on what to do with your unruly moptop, she offers great suggestions for finding an ideal look for you. But it’s more than just a great haircut that prompts me to return time and again. The atmosphere, the environment here that Amanda creates...it’s always been very warm, welcoming, and lively. Every visit is personal, like hanging out with good friends. And like a really great song, you always end your visit feeling better than when you arrived. It took me many, MANY years of searching different spots in the area to find someone who consistently gets my hair right. AU gets it right AND makes their space for doing so a delightful feelgood haven. No more searching...now, I won’t get my hair cut anywhere else but here. 🙂

I came to Amanda needing to improve my hair health, and I have never felt better or more confident about the look and feel! I love all of the organic products she uses, and my blonde color has never looked better. The salon is always a positive place to be, and I love chatting with Amanda too! Atelier Upton Salon is a salon where you can get more of a natural approach to hair care! The use of organic products, coloring, and essential oils is something that my wife and I are interested in being chiropractors, living a healthier lifestyle. Amanda is very interested in achieving exactly what you want and she always makes sure you are happy! We appreciate her attention to detail and care for a healthier salon experience!
