This was my first cut/dry since moving here and I was referred by my daughter. Star did my hair and she was great! She greeted me before I even made it in the door, offered me something to drink, was super chatty/friendly, and made sure I was happy with what we were doing every step of the way. So glad my daughter found this place and I already have my next appt booked!

Stylist took 45 minutes to apply color. I have shirt hair. Regular stylist takes about 25.i showed her multiple pictures if how I wanted my hair cut. Didn't really happen. It took 2 hrs and 40 minutes for the appointment. My regular stylist does it all in 90 minutes. And, I had to listen to the young lady sniffing the whole time and breathing through her mouth. I suggested she take a break and blow her nose. She said she was fine; just allergies. I hope that's true, but a customer shouldn't have to listen to that. Whole cutting my hair she sneezed, fortunately turned her head , sneezed on the back of her hand and then continued to cut my hair. I hope I don't get sick. I won't use this stylist ever again. I felt like she was brand new and didn't know what she was doing.

I won't be back Real simple, the owner charge 2% to take a credit card. Who does that in a cashless society. The haircut and stylist was good. The 2% left me angry. Oh well they sure know how to run a business. I was the only one in the place.

For the money I spent, it really wasn’t worth it. A perm for $125 and then I tipped 10% It totaled $175. I know in a week I will want to have a cut because the stylist would not do it. I was due for a haircut so there are so many dry ends that makes this perm look even worse. Update, 3 days later…….not a single curl in my bangs.

Really disappointed in this salon; I’ve gone for years. Walked in on January 6th for a cut. 3 of the first 6 days were holidays. The manager and hairdresser signed me in at the counter. NEITHER one explained that their fees INCREASED for the New Year. Neither one indicated a flier displayed (which I had not noticed) for me to read about their increase. I was undecided about a blowdry and all the hairdresser said was there was an “extra” charge. I should have asked but it was always $15. So, as a senior on fixed income, instead of their old price at $43 plus tip, it was $70 plus a generous tip as always. When I asked why $70, the manager had a very condescending attitude in explaining the increases ($35 cut, $35 blowdry). It’s not that I couldn’t afford it, I didn’t WANT to pay that much unexpectedly! I know, I know, for Scottsdale this is cheap and why am I complaining. Because I wasnt prepared to spend that much. I would have gone without the blowdry. Really not happy w their manager. I feel scammed. They just lost 3 customers (myself and 2 referrals) by being slimy.

Honestly, this is the worst haircut and color I have ever had. It was actually worse but another stylist came in and salvaged what she could. Really wishing I had gone to great clips. I keep repeating “it grows back” over and over under my breath but it isn’t really helping. How am I going to go out into public like this? Maybe in a few hours I will be able to laugh about it but right now it’s pretty painful.

I would rate zero stars if I could. I could have hacked off my hair myself if that’s what I wanted. It was not at all “hair styling” because the stylist didn’t give any feedback on what I was asking for. I’m not a hair stylist when I get my hair cut I expect the stylist to work with me and tell me what will work on my hair. Awful experience and now I need to go somewhere and get it fixed.
