My daughter had her hair blown out and curled for a very special event. Sorry to say the curls did not even last until she got home to change into her party clothes. She was quite upset as was I that I spent money for nothing.

I have been looking for a top knot massage therapist in Dutchess county I found her at Appearance Salon and Day Spa. Carla was friendly, knowledgeable and has amazing massage techniques. I will be returning on a monthly basis 😄 Five stars for Carla and her fantastic service.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I have been in search of a great salon/spa and I finally found one. This salon and spa is very personable and the staff is amazing. I’m always happy with my spa services and with my cut and high lights the owner Tom gives me. I highly recommend you trying this place you won’t be disappointed!!! You will be amazed.

I’ve been a client at - Apperance Salon & Day Spa for over 2 yrs now & I strongly recommend Tom to everyone! Tom is truly an expert & artist in the hair industry! Tom knows the latest hair cut & color trend's.. Having fine hair -Tom some how works his magic & I always leave satisfied! My husband, son , & friends are now followers of Tom due to his consistency & expertise.. My only regret is not finding him sooner!

Love Rosie who usually does my eyebrows but it usually seems empty during the day when I go. It is a little outdated and the room for waxing is tiny. I like that they have online booking now. they should advertise that more.

Paige gave me a GORGEOUS New haircut and color highlights that I had never dreamed possible before!!! She took Years off my look, and I feel Younger, too! The services at this spa and attention to detail are Top Notch. The best masseuse, mani/pedis, and facials are available, too. In addition, a lovely extension to this complete spa are selected, seasonally up to date fashion apparel and accessories, from resort wear to easy to wear casual separates, which will banish any wardrobe doldrums you may be experiencing as well. Appearance Salon & Day Spa is a Great place to go to be pampered, appreciated, and emerge like a princess!

I have been going to Rosie at Appearence Day Spa for over ten years because she is the best facial and waxing professional in the area. In 2018 I moved to CT and I still drive to Rosie, over an hour away, because I could never find anyone who can even come close to the level of work which Rosie performs. Rosie is knowledgeable, meticulous, gentle and professional.

I was highly recommended to Appearance and I don’t regret it ! I had an amazing facial, the technician was through and explained everything in detail. I also experienced an amazing massage. He had an in depth consultation with me, and the massage was like no other. He is talented and extremely knowledgeable about his profession. I couldn’t recommend Appearance enough. I will definitely be coming back.

I was looking for a new place to get my facials. Ive had problems with my skin on and off for years. i was recommended to appearance day spa with Rosie. Rosie gave me a very thorough consultation and recommended one of their new rejuvenating facials along with amazing natural home-care products. My skin has never looked and felt better. I am so grateful for Rosie. Ive already set up my next facial. I highly recommend appearance day spa to anyone for your skin care needs.

Don't bother. I made an appointment for a mani-pedi at noon (my lunch hour), two days before my son's wedding. I got there before noon. By 12:20, the person who would have performed the service was still rinsing the hair of another client, which means it would have been at least another 15-20 minutes. I told the person I presume to be the owner I had to leave. All I got was, "Sorry." Go somewhere else, where your time and patronage is appreciated.

I had a gift card and made an appointment for a massage. When I showed up (it was a month to get the appointment) there was nobody at the front desk. After waiting 10 minutes, I finally caught the attention of a hair stylist around the corner, who checked me in and had me wait.5 minutes later, she returned and inform me that the massage therapist had called in sick and they hadn't gotten around to calling me. She had me leave my number to reschedule but I am not hopeful that I will hear from them.

I went to Appearance Day Spa last week for a manicure and pedicure. I have to say that the experience was wonderful and very relaxing. Paige did a meticulous job of grooming my feet, and she made me feel pampered and relaxed! Her pleasant personality and degree of professionalism is something I will look forward to the next time I go.This is a very clean salon, and it is comforting to know that I can go to a place where I can feel confident about getting the best pedicure in town! The manicure was equally as refreshing, and my hands looked great! I will definitely be making another appointment soon for the upcoming Holidays!

PLEASE DON'T GO TO get a mani or pedi. This review is ONLY for mani and pedi. The lady was so nice but I'm not happy with my service. My toes hurt this morning because she buffed gel polish off my toes, and then scraped it off when it wouldn't come off easy. I was up here visiting for my birthday and I was given this as a gift. Now this gift is causing me pain. I can't get my nails fixed until the swelling around my toes goes down. Also, when trimming my cuticles she forced the tool when there was resistance. It hurt, but I figured that it was just the tool she used. The paint job is something I could have done myself and... they don't put gel on the toes! I get my nails done ALL the time but the way she did the trimming around my nails is causing the skin to become super dry and peel. If I could base it on personality the score would be much higher. I can honestly say that this is the first mani and pedi that I have had this happen.

Tom and his staff are amazing! I have been coming here for many years and am always impressed with everything! Several months ago I came in looking to do something different with my hair but not entirely sure what to do and Tom suggested a funky short hair style that I love and have been keeping for the past several months. With this style I have been getting multiple complaints about my hair and I always tell them that I get it done by Tom at Appearance Day Spa! The same time that I started getting my hair done with the funky short cut I also started to get my hair colored to a brighter blonde….before that I had only gotten some highlights in my hair…this time I got my hair completely colored; Tom colored my hair himself and made sure that I was comfortable and nothing felt like it was burning or hurt. 100/10! I love coming here to get my hair done! I won’t let anyone but Tom do my hair!!! Tom is the best!!!!!

The massage was absolutely wonderful! Felt wonderful afterwards. Only downfall was that my massage was in the room right as you first walk in. Trying to relax all I could hear was them talking outside. As for my manicure and pedicure which my daughter treated me to for my birthday, I was not impressed with. Their spa version of both was nothing compared to what I have ever had before. My feet were not wrapped, I did not get an adequate exfoliation of my calluses, nor did I get a massage, and my toes do not have the cuticles and such attended to. The same thing went for my hands. At the end I usually look forward to the wonderful warm towels as they are wrapped around my legs and hands. They were ice cold. I get a spa manicure and pedicure at least once a month. This was nothing compared to what I normally get. The girl was a sweetheart but needless to say did not come off as a full-time manicurist to me. I would definitely go back for another massage but that is the only service that I trust. Since I have been there twice for massages and they both have been great.
