This has become my absolute favorite place to go to get my hair done. I used to go to Marie Robinson in Manhattan. It is very difficult to find someone so good at color, especially for someone like me with dark hair. I had my color done twice with two different stylists. Stacey is the far superior stylist in my opinion and is at the level of Marie Robinson in the city. I am so happy with my hair, but you look at the photos and see for yourself.

Ourania at Andrew Stefanou salon is simply Amazing. She is the most devoted and talented colorist I have ever encountered. My hair color is honestly magazine worthy and to top it off she was as elated as I was by the results. She is a professional who not only is expert in her field but also truly loves pleasing her clients. The owner Andrew Stefanou is not there to oversee, he partakes in all that is going on. This spa is an exemplar for all salons - a leave there happy place!

Disappointing. I made an appointment for bridal up-do and makeup for myself (the bride) and my maid of honor. When I arrived at the scheduled time, I was led to a chair where I had to sit waiting for 15 minutes. During that time I was completely ignored, for 15 minutes ON MY WEDDING DAY. When the stylist finally appeared she offered nothing in the way of an apology or explanation for the 15 minute delay. I think her name was Ashley. She did an ok job on my hair, but then seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing with makeup. She kept trying to put blush on the front of my cheeks and next to my mouth. She also was unable to do a simple wing eyeliner and had to ask another stylist to do it. The brushes she was using appeared dirty. I wasn’t really happy with what she did but so much time had passed that I was behind schedule and needed to rush home to change and get to the wedding venue. To top it all off, the girls at the front desk tried to overcharge me. I still feel that I paid too much - the makeup was already pilling and caking by the time I got home to change (15 minutes later.) This was not at all the wedding day experience I had hoped for.

I started coming to the salon about a year ago and I love the place, I go to Tami. She is really sweet, nice, funny, has conversations with you and a processional. Literally love my hair everytime she does it. I get so many compliments asking me where i go and who does it. She’s the best!!! 10/10 would recommend

You HAVE to book with Theo! He is incredibly talented. Theo really took his time to understand what I wanted in regard to color and to execute it. He is super friendly and professional and my expectations were far exceeded! If you go here ask for Theo he’s the best!

I go to Amina for eyelash lift and tint and eyebrow wax. It is perfect every visit and is such a pleasant experience. Amina is great, the staff is so nice, and the salon is relaxing.

I have had many facials in the past and nothing compares to the wonderful facial I received from Aminah! She listened to my concerns about my skin and took great care of my face. She made sure all of my pores were clean with the hydro facial. The massage she gave my face and shoulders was relaxing. My face felt clean for weeks after and my skin looked younger! I have not seen my pores look so clear and smooth since I was in my 20s… I’m 43. Aminah is knowledgeable about skincare and I can’t wait to go back to her in 4 weeks.

I have to share the Best experience I had at Andrew Stefanou Salon & Spa. I have been wanting to experience a service at the salon and called them to schedule lash extensions. I had a limited time frame which I needed the service completed. I received a call back offering me an appointment to work around my work hours and the service would be with the owner. The day that I arrived to the salon, I was impressed by the impeccable cleanliness and relaxing waterfall in the lobby. Dee welcomed me right in and gave me one of the most natural and nicest set of lashes. She could not have been kinder! I was happy to meet Andrew on my exit who was extremely welcoming as well. I I have received many complaints on my lashes which people ask if they are my natural lash.I highly recommend the salon/ spa! I look forward to returning. Thank you Dee

It was my first time at this salon and I was overwhelmed when I walked inside not realizing how big and busy it was going to be.. i walked up to check in nervously and was greeted by mariana at the front desk, she made me feel so welcome and told me she’d walk me back to get me set up with my appt. She grabbed me a robe and put a warm towel around my neck. She knew exactly what to say to make me feel at ease and made sure I was comfortable. she went above and behind.. after being sat down, my colorist Tina came over and had a detailed consultation with me and gave me exactly what I wanted. I’ve never been more happy with my hair and I look forward to going back. From beginning to end I was astonished with the professionalism and patience they had with me. Highly recommend!

My family and I lived in NYC for years. We recently moved to Darien during covid. My husbands family is from New Canaan and he wanted to be closer to them.. Not knowing anyone I experimented at numerous salons in New Canaan that I wasn’t fully happy with. I met some parents at my children’s school that told me andrew stefanou salon and spa was the place to go! Everything from the introduction at the front desk to my thorough consult with my colorist blew me away! The shampoo was my favorite.. Such a good head massage by Claudia! I also didn’t know until I went in that this salon does nails, massages, facials and eyelash extensions and Botox! My new one stop shop! They even gave me a full tour of the salon and was greeted by the owner! Please go check them out! They won’t disappoint !

Run don’t walk to see Netta Scaturchio!! I’ve never gotten so many compliments after I’ve gotten it colored and I truly feel like I finally look like my best self. Hands down the best balayage I’ve ever gotten. Super super appreciate her and the entire staff at the salon. Already looking forward to my next cut, color & blowout.

What to do a rainy Friday afternoon? How about a facial at Andrew Stefanou Salon? I had the most glorious facial by the amazing Sylvana. She was just incredible. I needed this more than I even realized. My skin felt so soft and so much brighter afterwards. I even took a quick nap while enjoying the peel. The salon has an elegant, yet very down to earth vibe. You are welcomed the minute you walk in and that welcome continues throughout your visit. Andrew and Dee are very generous people who give back to the community. That you Andrew for bringing sunshine to a rainy day.

First time at the salon, had a great experience. My young daughter had her hair colored by Tami. She was great to work with and did a fantastic job with her hair. She took lots of time making my daughter feel comfortable with the process. The salon was beautiful, clean and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be coming back to see Tami in the future.

I decided to go for a color and style after a year of chemotherapy and finally getting my hair back. I heard so many positive things about Andrew Stefanou Salon, I thought I would give them a try. I was booked with Kelly who was amazing. Not only was her artistry of finding the perfect color on point but she was able to create the exact style I was hoping for. Finding someone who knows how to cut curly hair is unheard of. I found my superstar. What i love about Kelly is that she took the time to understand my journey. The entire Salon worked so well together, it felt like they were a team. From the moment I entered to the gentlman Kevin who washed my hair to the owner greeting me with water, i was so impressed with their genuine attention. What a beautiful and immaculate salon! I can't wait to go back!

Just had a haircut with Ty and it was the best experience. He discussed with me what I wanted and should consider. The cut is just what I wanted and I feel beautiful walking out after the time and attention he gave to blow drying my hair do it had body and waves. Definitely going back!

Silvana in Darien has ruined me!!! I will never be able to get a pedicure from anyone else! She is so good, she actually transforms my feet every time I see her! She was recommended to me at the beginning of the pandemic after everything was shut down and my feet, like everyone else’s, were very neglected and in dire need of help. She is truly a miracle worker! And she’s funny and spirited too! I can’t wait to try some of the other services she offers. Run, don’t walk to her, you won’t regret it!
