Do not go here! She stole a large amount of money from a friend of mine and never gave her the service she paid for. I saw another review saying the same thing. And the same time frame. She keeps saying “this weekend I’ll refund you” that’s been at least 3 weeks of saying that with excuse after excuse as to why she couldn’t send a refund. Extremely unprofessional and should not be trusted.

I was very happy with my hair and the service that Kesha provided. She seemed nice and professional. I saw her at Ish Salon in Chandler and knew she was planning on opening her own salon in Mesa. So I made my follow up appointment with her at that location and put down a $510 deposit for the service. Kesha reached out a week prior to the appointment asking if I could pay the balance for my appointment to help her get some things of her grand opening. I did so wanting to support a female small business owner. That was Nov 1. My appointment was Nov 9. She texted me on Nov 7 that her shop was not ready and could I push the appointment to Nov 10. Although an in convenience to me, I agreed. She texted on Nov 9 and said her shop still was not ready. This was not only disconcerting but inconvenient due to travel plans and the specialized extension service she provides. I asked her to refund my money if she couldn't plan a home visit in the next week. She came down with the flu so she could not. She stated she would refund my money. After multiple excuses and multiple deadlines to refund that she set herself, it is now Dec 24....going into 2 months later and still no refund. She has claimed several personal setbacks that I do not doubt, but that has nothing to do with how a person runs their business. Think twice before you do business with her.

So happy to find Ta'Keshia! I just moved to Arizona back in May 2024 and honestly, one of my bigger concerns was finding a stylist. Thank goodness, I found TaKesha. She's a confident stylist, very knowledgeable about black hair, natural and protective styling, and she is an absolute pleasure to talk to during my visits. She is the embodiment of professionalism and familiarity. 10/10 I highly recommend her for your hairs needs. If you are relocating to the Phoenix area be sure to check her out. I feel like I struck gold finding her and normally I wouldn't write a review because I want to keep my stylist to myself, but she's been pivotal in my adjustment to the area. So, I'm sharing my experience for others who may be looking for a new stylist.

Be careful doing business with Keisha. I wish I could do zero stars because she stole money from me. I had my hair done with her before and thought I could trust her, so I ordered hair from her last month that she said will arrive in 10 days to my address. I sent her $350 via Zelle, she then said the hair will be shipped to her. I was confused as I asked her to mail it to me, she assured me that the hair will still arrive to me in 10 days, I have the screenshots of this and that she would send me tracking info, which she never did. It has now been 6 weeks. The last 2 weeks she has not answered any of my phone calls or texts. I still don’t have the hair and I’m out $350. She basically just stole my money, gave me the run around for a few weeks about the hair being on its way, then ghosted me. Think twice about sending her any money prior to receiving any service or the product she promises to deliver.

With my wedding coming up I wanted to get extensions, but was nervous because I had never had them before. I found Ambiance Beauty Bar through social media and decided to book an appointment! I had a virtual consultation with Kesha, where she went over all the hair options for me. She was super helpful and answered all my questions. During the appointment Kesha was very thorough and took her time to make sure it was perfect! She even went after hours to style my hair which I really appreciated. I ended up getting I-tip extensions which have been amazing - they’re super lightweight, versatile and blend well with my natural hair! I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend! I’ll definitely be coming back. ❤️

I recently visited Ambiance beauty bar for a braidless sew-in, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and professional. I’m very impressed with the service I received from Kesha my hair extensions are sturdy and my hair is growing. I get a lot of compliments of how natural my hair looks. The salon is very clean and comfortable. Kesha’s assistant is very professional. Great Location with lots of parking! I will definitely be returning for more services.

Do not trust this business. Ask the business owners to make me a unit. Sent the money via zelle. Business owner took my money without giving me my unit. Also after getting microlinks installed my hair began to break off. DO NOT USE these services. Absolutely horrible . CON ARTISTS To edit: I sent the zelle to an account that was indeed the business owners but that account was overdrawn instead of making my unit and installing my hair the business owner argued with me and refused to give me my money back or even give me my unit. I have the transcripts as well and will be more than happy to provide them. Also please take my photos off of your Instagram you should NOT be making money off of me after you indeed took $500 from me because your bank account was overdrawn. VERY GHETTO if you ask me. And yes this was 3 years ago . The business owner should be ashamed of herself for even conducting business like this. The proper thing to do is to give someone their money back because you had your zelle information attached to the wrong bank account.

Is there a rating that I could give that would be greater than 5 stars? If so, I’d give Ambiance Beauty Bar a 10!! Words cannot describe how Ambiance Beauty Bar makes me feel when I walk out their door - other than stellar. After getting the best attention and hair treatment I’ve ever had, I feel like a star! I tell Kesha what style and/or feel I want and she creates it along with providing good conversation, soulful music and the relaxation of having my head massaged so well during my shampoo. I’ve been on this earth for a while and have a strong hesitation in trusting any beautician. For years I’d rather keep my hair in a bun than have someone (other than me) touch it. I met Kesha and she made me feel so comfortable and understood my hair. She understood me and did not try to make me look like some carbon copy of any other person. I am so grateful for Kesha’s touch and professionalism at Ambiance Beauty Bar and I now look as good as I feel!

They say a pic is worth a thousand words, so I've uploaded a few. I absolutely loved my experience at Ambiance Beauty Bar! I am Very picky when it comes to my hair. I moved to the area a few years ago and have had the worst of luck finding a good stylist that can install a full lace closure with absolutely NO glue that looks natural and lays flat. I almost gave up hope! I'm so glad that I came across Kesha and her salon. She is definitely my new go to stylist. Even my wash and condition had me feeling good. What an amazing experience. The name is truly appropriate… Ambiance … is what I felt my entire experience… Kesha and her stylist Nicole gave me the best Bob style ever! I felt like a new woman… as a natural… hair health is a priority to me.. Kesha uses some of the best, bar none, top notch products and throughly accesses the condition of your hair before you even get shampooed! She is extremely hands on and caters to your individual hair needs. It has been years since I’ve given an all around 5 star review to a stylist… but Kesha and Nicole definitely are the professional hair care team I have been searching for. I feel like my hair has a chance again to thrive the way it once did. The salon is very elegant, stylish and classy… just as these two ladies are. So proud, happy and relieved (lol) to be a client! My experience at Ambiance was top notch. Keisha and her team really make you feel As if you and your beauty goals are her top Priority. I am a very busy woman, that works extended hours. Keisha was very accommodating to me, and my need to continue to take work calls throughout my appointment. Keisha was very patient as she explained instructions to me on how to care for my hair. I am enjoying the finished product so much.

Kesha is THE BEST! I wanted iTip extensions for my birthday and she made it happen! Her hair is great quality and she came in on her day off for my installation, such a blessing! Kesha is always available via phone and responds in a timely manner. Her customer service is amazing.
