They do it all here and not only do they know hair care, nails, and facials but they also have phenomenal services. I’m a chronically anxious person and I felt comfortable asking my questions to all the staff here. My nails and hair come out bomb every time. I’ve done haircuts , bayalage, facials and nails. Come out exactly how I want it every time.

I usually wait until I go to a beauty place a few times to write a review unless the situation was really bad. & that it was. I’ve been to this salon 3 times to get my hair done and I had a wonderful experience each time. They provided great vibes & serviced me beautifully. I noticed that they provide other services so I decided to test it out since the shop is close to my home. I called to make a mani pedi appointment for 6/15 for 3pm. On this date, I wasn’t feeling well and called to reschedule the appointment for sunday 6/16 at 1 pm. When I arrived to the salon at 1PM on the dot, the girl looks shocked that she has another client and makes a phone call to Aida so that she can let me know shes a bit backed up and needs me to come back in a couple of hours. I had the time and lived close enough where it wasn’t an inconvenience so gladly agreed to the new time which was 3pm. When it is almost 3pm, I get a texted apologizing and asking if I can come in at 4pm. Once again, I had the flexibility to stretch my time to 4PM so gladly agreed to it. When I walk into the salon at 4PM, there is a client still being serviced with her arms wrapper in saran wrap sitting on the pedicure chair. I patiently take a seat and scope out the situation to see if maybe the clients service is coming to an end but after 15 minutes realize this is not the case. I start increasingly getting irritated at this point because this is beyond disrespect. Once I asked her how long it is going to take to start getting serviced, that is when she starts taking off my gel nail polish - 15/20 minutes into the already twiced rescheduled appointment. She attempts to service both of us at the same time and this leads to my further irritation so I just ask her to finish what shes doing with taking off my gel because I am ready to leave. She tries to explain what happened but to be honest at this point I did not care. As patient and understanding as I am as a client, I do not tolerate businesses wasting my time and that is exactly what happened with this appointment. I thought I found the salon that I would be going to but I have no intentions of coming back. Even as the owner tried to make things right by apologizing, sending my deposit back and offering a free service, I just don’t see myself being able to be a client to this shop. Some business advice, accurately measure the time it takes to provide certain services and use an appointment application that accurately blocks out times so that you aren’t wasting your clients time.

Overall good salon! I got a wash, cut, and style for $55. I think for the price it is a good cut, I would’ve liked it to be a little more seamless with the face framing and I have curly hair and wish there was a curly cut. Otherwise they were very sweet.

I love it here!! Marsh always takes really great care of my hair (I’ve done haircuts, color and extensions!) but the best part is Karla, she does the most amazing intricate nails and always come through to make my dream designs a reality. And the prices are super affordable and the owner Aida is a a dream to work with, she always has wine or water to offer you! 💕 I travel from Jersey to woodside every month just to see this ladies

I love love this salon!! I reached out to them through instagram, and heard back from them ASAP for my hair color. They were amazing and nice and really took care of me !! Will be looking forward to seeing you in the future. 🫶🏼

I went to Amalia Hair Salon for a wash and set and decided, on the spot, to get a haircut as well. Sol did an incredible job at cutting my hair and giving me the long layers that I like to keep in my hair and gave me a bouncy blowout! Aida (who I believe is the owner/manager) does a great job at welcoming her customers, new and old, and keeps the atmosphere of the salon super lively and buzzing with excitement. This salon is much needed addition to the neighborhood. And I will definitely be coming back and becoming a regular at this salon!

This is a great salon! I am new to the area and needed a new salon. I emailed them for an inquiry and to make an appointment and they responded immediately. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I was offered coffee as I waited. The lady who did my hair was Sol. She did an amazing job! I love my new hairstyle and I will definitely be going back! I found my new spot!

I don't know where to start ...they are alllll amazing in there. They do there job so well and clean. My daughters got the treatment they needed as well as I did. And it was worth every dollar. I rescheduled 4 times and they didn't have not one issue with my scheduling. I love them all. ..my girls loved it and want to come back again.

I absolutely love this salon! I wrote to them for an appointment and heard back from them about an hour after I sent my message. It is very easy to book an appointment and show them exactly what you want. My stylist took her time with my hair!! I told them about how my hair has bad bleach damage and how a stylist at a different salon cut my hair uneven. She looked at my entire head and double checked the length multiple times after trimming little by little. The products she used smelled amazing and left my hair feeling great for days. The blowout was absolutely amazing!! I wish I knew her name but I swear this salon is the best local salon I've ever been to. Very clean and beautiful salon. They offered me water that was fresh and cold. I will definitely keep coming back! The environment is very welcoming and you can tell they will do whatever you need them to do to feel beautiful.

I had an appointment today and it was the best hair salon experience I ever had.She took her time with washing my hair cutting my hair did not rush at all.Their hospitality is the best.The salon is beautiful.She did my layers beautifully.The best service ever!!

Definitely will be coming back! I cut, wash, did a hydrating treatment and styled my hair and I’m in love! The salon is classy and cozy with great music. Service was impeccable! Prices are very reasonable and staff are friendly and definitely make you feel at home!

I drive two hours from bayonne all the way here and then spend the night just to make it here and it was well worth it. Professional and beautiful salon. Life changing looks. I watched women transform in this salon. Nails and make upstairs and hair downstairs!!!!! Beautiful

Listen girls , this place is amazing trust me They are very knowledgeable about everything, let me just say that I attempted to do my hair at home unfortunately I created a disaster I went by Amaila they fixed my hair in no time , perfect color just the way I wanted and I am very grateful They do everything, hair , nails , makeup , eyelashes, the mail lady is the best she did pedi and mai for my daughter she did an amazing job I was very pleased Don't hesitate you be very happy with services no this is my favorite place I'll see you soon girls

Love this place! I’ve been doing my Hair and Nails at Amalia Hair Salon since day one and I am So pleased! I usually Get Overlay Acrylics on my Natural Nails BY Karla; and A Wash and Set By Kenia. I love the service that they provide for me!! Starting from the owner, Aida, everyone is so welcoming and always treat me like Family. I love that they offer Drinks while I'm getting pampered and always look out to see if I need anything else. I always come out satisfied with their Job and I highly recommend this place! Another thing is how clean they keep the salón! I always look out for these things anywhere I go and love seeing everything very well organized. Thank You for having me as a client!

When I want to get pampered I go here! The hair washing experience alone is absolutely relaxing and the hair professional always finishes with a stimulating scalp massage. Great quality products that smell divine. My blow dry style lasts over a week. I get so many compliments and I always leave feeling beautiful. The staff really takes their time with you for each service (hair, facials, nails, lashes) and they go above and beyond to make you feel spoiled and comfortable.
