I don’t know the name of the lady who did my hair but it came out awful. I asked for my entire head to be one color (my nature color, dark brown). Walking into it, I know I had the hardest colors to remove from hair (black and red) but I was ready for her to bleach my whole head. At first she told me she was bleaching it but there was no change. She brought me over to the sink and washed my hair three times with some brown mixture that also didn’t do anything. after that, she bleached ONLY my roots, which were already my natural brown color so i don’t understand why she bleached them in the first place. she put a light/ginger like brown on the roots and i told her that was the complete wrong color. so she put a little bit darker brown on but i told her it still wasn’t my shade. she told me there was nothing she could do and couldn’t put a darker brown on. i then wanted four blonde highlights on the underside of my head. i told her i didn’t want them to be seen when in a pony tail on the side of my head and that’s what she did exactly. nothing she did is what i asked for. she charged me for the extra hours i had to sit there due to her mess up. and on top of that i asked her for a trim/layers. she did not even cut the dead ends off. i am sitting here right now with dry curled up fried ends, black, red, light brown, ginger roots, and orangey blonde hair. i had to pay $425 plus tip for something that looks awful. she also was so aggressive when washing my hair, i could tell she felt bad about the pain i was in but she didn’t try anything to reduce it. i was levitating off the seat from the amount of pain my scalp was in. my sister called and asked if i could come in and have it fixed since i was charged for something i did not like or want and she said “if you want me to damage her hair then she can come in.” i will never be going here again and will tell all my friends to never go there.

Geno is absolutely amazing!! Very fun, easy going salon- you feel like you are with a bunch of friends verses a bunch of strangers. He helped me figure out how to get exactly what I wanted! He listened to me, Educated me and advised me to help me make the best decision for my hair. He was not a stuffy stylist by any means he was extremely down to earth and made me feel very welcomed. His prices are extremely Reasonable as well! If you’re looking for a new hairstylist in Sturbridge please go see Geno you will not be disappointed; he truly cares and wants you to get what you were looking for; my hair color came out absolutely amazing!

Gino is great! I just moved to the area from Canada, and happened to find Altamoda from a quick Google search. After going to the same stylist for 20 years, I was a little nervous about change... but Gino did an amazing job, and I'm definitely going back for my next cut. He's a professional, wants you to look your best, and a lot of fun to talk to, which makes it a great experience. I highly recommend!

I go here every 6 weeks for a haircut. The price is great, the service is quick and they've always been on time. Another thing I like about this location is that, even if everyone is busy, they acknowledge that you've arrived. I've been straight up ignored at other salons, or they'll try to convince me to do things to my hair that I didn't go there for. I like that I can just go in, get my haircut, and leave. I'd recommend this salon to anyone.

Gino is awesome! The best color iv ever gotten . He really listens to what you want . Can't say enough great things about him and his business. Sturbridge needs to let businesses advertise better ,it's a building you'd never think was a hair salon for sure .

Staying in Sturbridge for only a few days I took a chance and was very fortunate to get an appointment with Geno. He was able to make my ashey graying roots disappear. The color looked so pretty, natural and blended. The cut was great. Not only is he a super stylist, he’s so fun. Great experience. Next time in Sturbridge, I’ll definitely call for an appointment. Highly recommend.

I made the amazing decision of booking blowouts for myself, my sister, and mother-in-law for my rehearsal dinner the night before my wedding. Massimo and the gorgeous Shana did such an amazing job and seemed just as excited about my wedding festivities as we were! We had such a fun experience and I can't thank them enough. Really enjoyed having my hair done by Mimi for my friends wedding. I showed her a hair idea and she took it from there and made it even better. She was wicked friendly and my hair came out beautiful. I would highly recommend her and this place.
