Called and made an appointment and was not told I would be seeing someone other than Vicki (who I specifically requested). Asked for 4 inches to be cut off and instead got about 9 cut off which is not at all what I wanted. On top of that I had to ask twice for her to make my hair even (the left side was over an inch longer than the other side), which she didnt fix, it is still uneven. I left literally trying to not to cry because it looks so bad, and theres not even enough hair left to salvage the haircut. Would not recommend seeing Alex.

I have long, naturally-graying hair which had gotten kind of wiry and untamed. Alex was recommended by a friend, and I"m so glad I saw her! I told her my hair goals (soft, straight, and shiny like before I had my grays, but didn't want to cover them), and she said "no problem." Soft, straight, and shiny is exactly what I got! Whatever she did made my wiry Bride-of-Frankenstein grays nice and soft and sooooo shiny! I highly, highly recommend Alex to anyone, but especially anyone who wants to retain their grays, but get back the shiny, smooth, healthy hair feel. I can't wait for my next appointment!!!!

This is the only salon I'll go to anymore in Macomb. Vicki is amazing and all the stylists I've had in there besides her have been great too. The last 2 times I was there, I had appointments with Alex. The first time wss for a trim. I donate my hair on a regular basis and have since I was little so I don't get anything fancy but I've often struggled to find a stylist who will only trim like an inch off for me and not take 3 or 4 inches. Alex was perfect! She just took the dead ends, shaped it up for me, and even trimmed my bangs the way I like too! The second time I saw her was for a pedicure. My feet never felt so good after a Pedi before! I would totally recommend Alex to anyone. And of course the owner, Vicki, is amazing as well! She's trimmed and thinned my 8 year old son's hair twice now and kept him engaged in conversation the whole time. ❤
