A very popular local beauty salon; the ladies who run Alice's provide hair styling and cuts to both women and men. This salon tends to be packed with customers of all ages...from middle aged and older ladies, to young men. The stylists are friendly and provide excellent service at prices that are a bargain. It is best to call and make an appointment to avoid waiting.

I was eating in the area and came to this place because I walked past it and trying to find a local grocery store. The haircut was $10 and I was really really happy with a service and the cut. The 2 ladies in the shop work very friendly towards me because I spoke Mandarin. I told them that I was a psychologist and they took my name down to refer me to their customers. I will be back for this wonderful community experience!

I went to Alice Beauty Salon today. Lilly ( or Lily ) cut my hair. I have been a loyal customer for years because Lilly is always really nice and friendly. She is very experienced and can multi-task, cutting my hair and also talking to her other customers. I am almost bald. Usually the barber or hair stylist makes jokes about my hair ( or lack of it ) or simply insult me in a “ just kidding ‘ way which I hate. Lilly was quite respectful and don’t talk about or joke about any sensitive subject. . Every man wants to have a full head of hair and it is something beyond our control. She wore hair face mask the whole time that I was there so you don’t need to worry about catching anything from her. Chinatown is notorious for scarcity of parking . Alice Beauty Salon has one parking space and I had been lucky in getting the one and only so far . Also, this salon is clean with comfortable seating while you wait for your turn. Also, compare with other salon, Lilly price is more than fair. ———- I went for haircut yesterday. It was so busy and I waited 1 hour but I was fine. Lilly took good care of every customer. There was no short cut for her even when there were 4 other people waiting, 2 being worked on. There was one lady who kept looking at the mirror and asked to trim here, cut some more there and Lilly obliged. She is one classy lady.

Lily does a great job! I have been coming to this location for the last 5 years. It's best you call to check the schedule with her to avoid waiting as she is very popular!
