Happy curly hair lady here!! Angela is amazing! She has smooth, soft, gentle touch. She was patient, listened, and gave advice when I asked; she understood what I needed, and actually did exactly what I was expecting. As a curly hair woman, it is really hard to find someone that understands curls and style/cutting; I am very pleased and satisfied with my haircut today. Service was excellent and great products. She is very professional, respectful and bilingual too :). Thank you!

Congratulations to Maria and Edith on 10 great and successful years!! This Salon, About Me will always be my favorite, although some of the stylists come and go, I can go with anyone they recommend and all of them are awesome!

Sabrina is amazing! She does magic to hair! Personable and fun. Great recommendations for products when requested. The salon is easy to find, street parking, has water and coffee available. It is clean and well laid out. Staff is all professional and friendly. I highly recommend!

Edgar was amazing did a fo hauk for my 12 year old. This hair cut should have cost so much more! Does he cut for the stars? If he doesn’t he should. He fixed his hair that another near by salon messed up! Great job Edgar never going anywhere else ever again. If I could write 10 stars I would!!! Extravagant job.

Oh, my God!. This place is amazing!. They do an outstanding job!. They did an extraordinary job with my hair. Edith Knew exactly what I needed, so she transformed my color into an amazing color. I was so excited that I immediately got tears in my eyes because of the joy I felt of the work she performed on me.

I booked my appointment on google assistant for hair color and I showed up on time. The lady at the front desk was just mentions she couldn’t get in touch with me to discuss the services I needed. My phone number and email was listed and they just made it up as an excuse to cancel my appointment. The stylist was somehow kind enough to give me the option to reschedule but that didn’t fit my schedule. It’s just common sense to reach out to the clients if you need further information instead of canceling it on spot. Disappointing first time experience!

I had brought my daughter in the other day & it seemed they had no a/c!!! It was way too hot & absolutely ridiculous they don’t care enough to let the client know in advance. I would not recommend. By the time I left I felt drained.

I received a facial from Elizabeth this past weekend and it was such a relaxing and luxurious experience, I felt truly pampered. I had never had a facial before so I was not sure what to expect but I left the spa feeling so refreshed and taken care of. My skin was so smooth and glowing the entire weekend. If I had the means, this is a service I would love to have on a regular basis, it was such a treat.

Kalista was my stylist, she’s newer to the industry, but her service was SUPERIOR in every way to seasoned stylists I’ve gone to at other salons. She listened, gave advice, explained her process and gave me amazing results! I’m picky, like REALLY picky! I was also way overdue for a color and cut because another salon over processed my blonde and I was nervous to get color done again. My hair looks and feels healthier than its been in years and I can’t wait to go back and sit in her chair! Thank you Kalista for your attention to detail and keeping the integrity of my hair intact, while giving me back a beautiful and natural blonde ❤️

Lizette gives amazing scalp and neck massages. My sister and I fell in love with the place right from the start. Kalista cut my hair understood my needs. I love her excitement and happiness she’s contagious. I really needed this time for showing myself some love. I even gave her a hug after. Kalista please know that today for me it was more than just a haircut. Claudia cut my sisters hair and my sister looked so happy and comfortable. It made me truly grateful to come across a wonderful place. To the guy that came to help blow dry my hair, I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name, you are awesome! It was great seeing you there and so involved and helpful. You look great in beanies!

My sister was needing her hair cut and colored, we had the best experience! Our stylist was Kalista and she was so nice and professional! The whole place is just filled with great energy. I went back for myself for a deep hair conditioning and you know, Kalista is the first stylist EVER to recommend this service to me, All the times I've had my hair done and color not once did my "stylist " ever recommend/offer this. Kalista, Girl you did not disappoint. 👏 🙌

This review is for Maria who did an amazing job with my cut and color. She really took the time to listen to me and gave me exactly what I wanted (which is rare when it comes to hair). I also got some of the best life advice! You can tell she is really knowledgeable and loves to share this with her team, helping to mentor and care. I would highly recommend.

i'm not one to complain, but with this experience I want my voice heard. I definitely "DO NOT" recommend About ME Salon and Spa and will NEVER go back! I'm just finding out the girl Edith is a owner which made me feel sooooo uncomfortable by her rude and mean looks at me. I was overcharged (the girl at the front desk didn't know what she was doing) and my hair is nothing like my inspo pic - "IT'S FRIED!!!!!!!". I called to voice my concern and all I get is the runaround from Management. As I've done some research on this company, I'm finding they have high turnaround with all their employees. I've also noted how apathetic they treat employees (maybe that's why the stylist was "NO GOOD" with my hair). The further I researched the more discourage I got. It's unfortunate how a business feels pride in how they run things!!!

Sabrina at About Me Hair Studio is amazing! The color consultation was thorough and she asked me everything from my everyday hair routine, hair goals, and preferred maintenance. She got me in as soon and possible & was very transparent about pricing. Best hair salon experience ever! Coffee & water are complimentary which makes for a great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back. The whole staff is friendly & welcoming. She listened and delivered everything I wanted. I had never had a haircut & color come out this beautiful. I walked out feeling more confident than I had in a very long time. Thank you Sabrina! I’m in love with my hair.

Alyssa was my stylist. Great service, very professional and attentive to my needs with follow up questions. The salon was very clean and all the girls were helpful. Only negative experience I had; I did not expect my basic overall color tint to cost over $100 dollars. I was given the price before service began so I was aware, But was in shock. I should have asked for a breakdown to justify the amount before proceeding but I didn't want to make the rest of my experience awkward and upset the stylist. With that said, she was gentle when washing my hair, very thorough washing all the dye out, the scalp massage was lovely and she was not rough when blowdrying and curling because I'm tender-headed. I scheduled a follow up to add some lowlights in 8 weeks and will ask about the price beforehand this time. I do love the color and in the sun it looks rich and shiny and I received a few compliments at work today 😄

I have never been so happy after leaving a salon. Sabrina asked all the right questions and listened to what I said, and the end result was everything I wanted and more! I couldn’t be happier. I don’t ever want to go anywhere else again!

I was a model for a spray tan today with Bre. When you walk in there are two glass doors to either side of you. I checked in to the right then was sent to the left spa waiting area after giving the receptionist my name. Bre was very sweet and professional. While we waited for the other technician to finish up with her spray tan, Bre sat and chatted with me. Once the room was available she quickly got it cleaned and set up for me. Bre did a great job communicating with me throughout the service. She offered me disposable underwear and a hairnet to avoid getting product on my hair and clothing. Checking out was also very quick. The salon is beautiful, clean & spacious! I highly recommend them for you beauty needs! They have a full service hair salon, they offer skin treatments , spray tans and even lash extensions!
