Got full highlights, a haircut, and a deep conditioning treatment. Olga did an AMAZING job!! She is so knowledgeable. All of the staff were super friendly and kind. I just moved to the city this week and decided to try 21M Salon out. So glad I did! New go-to hair salon.

I went in over the weekend for the first time. Started off rough they did not start my appointment til almost half an hour late. I was there for a while and when I was getting my hair cut the stylist was not paying attention and ripped my helix piercing out. This ripped a hole in my upper ear breaking my cartilage. Crying and bleeding I left almost immediately to see a doctor. They did not care, they simply asked me to pay and charged me $345 dollars on my way out. I ended up having to go to the hospital and they will not give me a refund unless I show them my medical records, which I choose to keep private. I said since I am insured I have paid the bill and don't expect reimbursement for that and I would just like at least a half refund (because I still understand they spent products on me and am not trying to blindly rob them, I just think 345 to have a severe injury is crazy). if this were some insane request I could potentially understand however it happened in the salon in front of many people and the earring literally fell on the floor and he picked it up and handed it to me. And I was crying asking for the closest urgent care as I was rushing there mid-haircut. It is not as if I left fine and then called back later with a problem, this was a public event. Do not go here, it is not safe and clearly, they do not know how to handle a bad situation when it happens.

I've been here twice with different stylists and loved both times I went. The first time, immediately after I went to pick up shampoo at a Sephora for the first time and the salesperson told me they used to be a hairstylist and had to know what I did with my hair because it looked fantastic and super healthy. The second time I went, the person noticed my hair seemed really dry and suggested a treatment in addition (did not try to upsell, I really did need it and it was like an extra $15). I looked and felt SO much better after. They really pay attention to all the small details and check in frequently to make sure everything is to your liking. I also felt like they tailored the service to ensure I walked out with an outcome better than expected and gave me maintenence tips based on the amount of effort I put into my hair on a regular basis.

i recently came here to get my hair cut and colored, i tried to show my stylist a reference photo on my phone and he didn’t even think twice to take a look at it. he was very rough and seemed as if he was in a rush to finish my hair as quick as possible. he was aggressively brushing my hair and before left me sitting there drying for a very long time. the outcome was NOT AT ALL what i had wanted. the red ended up being so much more vibrant and bright than the subtle red i had wanted. i wish he took the time to actually look at my reference photo.

I am obsessed with this place. I had an impulsive decision to dye my hair and I hadn't touched it with color in two years. I have naturally great thick hair so I'm crazy about who touches it. I'm so thankful I called this place and so thankful for Josephine. She did an AMAZING job. I am lucky, I told her what I wanted, showed her one picture and she knew exactly what to do. I got a beautiful balayge with a very high blonde. Hard to do. They also actually talk to you on the phone before they bring you in to consider your time and figure out what needs to be scheduled, Nicholas, thank you for being so caring and great. If reading a review is one of your main things that bring you into a business please take mine very serious!!! They made me feel sexy! Who doesn't want big sexy hair!! Go see them!!!!

21M Salon will forever be my favorite salon!! I have been getting my hair highlighted/done for three years, and never have I left feeling as happy and beautiful as I did from 21M. It’s a quick trolley ride / 10 minute walk from Drexel University, so DREXEL STUDENTS listen up! When you call or go in person to book your appointment, you will be greeted by Nicholas - always dressed for success, personable and professional! The salon is clean, and everyone who works there takes the time to get to know you and are very attentive to your needs! Ask for Josie or “Juicy” - she always knows how to make you feel beautiful before AND of course after she works her magic. I’ve always wanted to go blonde, and the times that I got a blonde balayage from other salons it was either done incorrectly or wasn’t the shade I wanted. Josie really surprised me. I asked for a full blonde highlight (from brunette) about two months ago, and a half highlight in these photos with a soft blonde blend. I also asked for over directed/angled layers. Josie used her talents to give me just that and a comfortable experience from start to finish. Just take a look at the photos! Truly talented professionals - for the rest of my college years in Philadelphia and beyond, 21M will be my go-to salon 🤍

I had such an great experience at M21 Salon last weekend! Everyone is personable and very knowledgeable about what they are doing. I’ve been to several different hair salons after moving to Philadelphia & this is the only salon I’ve been to where I can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend!!

I stumbled in here at the end of my pregnancy for a much needed trip to the salon and after one visit knew I’d be a regular! I’ve been back twice since and highly recommend the stylist Josi! She did such a careful job on highlights and listened to exactly what I was looking for then takes the time to do a really really nice blow out that lasts for days. Each time I leave feeling beautiful!! Everyone from the receptionist who makes everything easy to the stylists and owner who make sure you are comfortable with a bottled water or a coffee contribute to the relaxed but professional vibe of this place. I would highly recommend this gem of a salon and especially Josi!

I walked into 21M for the first time yesterday with very long, unruly hair and left with a stylish bob. This is the third bob cut I’ve gotten and by far the best. Josie did an amazing job and I highly recommend her!

I was really looking forward to getting my hair colored at 21M Salon. I had heard great things and always had a lovely experience with the warm and welcoming staff. However, there seemed to be a miscommunication when it came to the color I requested. While I wanted my blonde highlights touched up, I left the salon looking like a Game of Thrones character. Overall, frustrated and embarrassed - looking forward to the grow out.

This was my second visit to 21M, and I can't express enough how impressed I am with the Salon! I had the GREAT pleasure of having Pascal cut my hair again and this time around I had Josephine give my drab brunette colored hair full highlights; I have one word "WOW," my hair is stunning and it's all thanks to Pascal and Josephine!🤩 Everyone is professional and extremely experienced and you can pick up on that vibe immediately when you're initially greeted by Nicholas!😁 On a personal note, I have never given a review before but felt compelled to do so!! I absolutely love Pascal Roger and the hair cuts he gives me every time. I trust whatever he wants to do. He is an award winning stylist, in global competitions and can do any style with the best skill. I have short hair and it has been a challenge finding someone who can cut it so I don’t look drab. My husband also started going to him and loves his cuts as well. When people stop you on the street to ask you where you got your cut you know you found your right stylist.

I have been a client for quite some time with Hector Ivan my hair stylist. He is wonderful, extremely professional, courteous, and detailed in his work. Nick is also excellent, he is a jack of all trades lol. He answers the phones, always works with me with the scheduling of my appointments, very customer service oriented and keeps the salon looking exceptions clean. I recommend this salon to ANYONE; You DEFINITELY get what you pay for here.

Bella did my hair and she was so coked up the entire time it was sad. She kept going to the bathroom. She had sugar boogers all over her nose. She's annoying and unprofessional! It's really a bad look for this nice salon.

Ever since I moved to Philadelphia 8 years ago I have been going to Royal hair salon. Within those eight years i can honestly say I have left there with a perfect haircut every time. This is coming from a 50 "something" year old single guy trying to look younger. She nails it!!! From the time you walk in the door, to having your hair washed, and finally having your haircut done is an incredible experience. Ellen does fantastic work! Don't take my word for it... Try it... You'll love it!!!

I cannot begin to describe how Pascal has improved my life over the last 5 years! Each and every time I visit the salon, Pascal takes the time to observe my hair and makes recommendations that are so suitable and flattering that I walk out with gorgeous hair and more confidence, feeling like a new person. While the price is certainly higher than a discount haircut, Pascal styles with an eye to extending the life of my cut so I can come back several months later. I cannot recommend 21M and Pascal Roger highly enough!

I love Moe's but haven't ventured out much lately. Stopping at Moe's was excellent. I ordered online walked in and picked it up. Online menu has some limitations but worked fine for me. YUM.

Love This Salon & Ellen.. She is Truly the Best & Always Super Accommodating. She gives a fabulous head massage while shampooing & conditioning your hair. Very Professional but also a comfortable & friendly place. Her prices are amazing.. Cut, Single Process Color & Style only 55.00... Really!!!🎄💖 She also does Waxing & Mens Cuts🎅
