Jim is incredibly accommodating. I requested a same-day appointment, and he managed to fit me in right away. His deep tissue massage is among the best in the Bay Area. I highly recommend 1 Touch & Relaxed to anyone dealing with stiffness or simply looking for a relaxing massage. I’ll definitely be booking another appointment!

Jim is the sweetest! Been coming here on a monthly basis for almost a year now and I am always so appreciative of the care I receive! Jim is very attentive, professional and caring! He has healing hands! I have had a wonderful experience with Jim! He is very capable and attentive. I started going to him when a fellow teacher recommended him to our school. He is very generous with civil servants and I feel very lucky to work with him. He is very diligent always asking what I would like to focus on and reflecting with me after the session over a cup of water. I feel like he always goes the extra mile, recommending stretches or exercises to help with pain. I would highly recommend his deep tissue massages! I felt so relaxed and tension-free after my massage with Jim! He has a great touch, since I'm newer to massages he started gentle and checked in to make sure the amount of pressure was ok. My shoulders had been very tight and painful but feel so much better now!

I have been seeing Jim for almost a year. He is Aaaamazing! He has a calming spirit which is reflected in his massage room. He checks in with you before the massage to see if there is anything you would like him to focus/work on and makes sure the pressure is to your liking. He has amazing hands and makes your massage a truly relaxing experience. Highly recommend Jim as a massage therapist.

I love getting massages from Jim! He is so good about checking in without being disruptive. He has such gentle energy that creates a safe and restorative environment, and I feel so comfortable when getting massages from him. Before I started coming to 1 Touch, I would book a 60 minute massage, and by around 50 minutes, I would start getting antsy and feel ready to be done. That has not been the case here…I recently booked a 90 minute massage, and even with the extra time I wasn’t ready for it to end! Now, when things get hard or I’m having a tough time, coming to 1 Touch for a massage is one of my ultimate ways of practicing self care. And I do feel so taken care of by Jim when I come here! Highly recommend coming here for a restorative, healing, and energizing experience.

Jim is an amazing, happy, an incredible warm and welcoming person. I met him right after the pandemic ended in 2022 and I have become a-must-see-massage therapist since then. He is listening, focused, caring, intuitive to which muscles needed attention. A lot of his clients are the doctors, chiropractors, marathon runners, personal trainers, teachers, truck drivers…and more. Myself - I am in Sales and I am always on the road meeting my customers here and there daily. I have been struggling back pains and sciatica issues due to nature of my work. Jim knows how to fix my pains and I feel great after every treatment. I see him about every 7-10 days to heal my pains and maintain a better wellness goals. You must see him! If my comments don’t convincing you to see him to heal your pains, I don’t know what else will be? By the way, I don’t usually a review to everyone, and I did it this time is simply JIM is the BEST massage therapist and I wanted to share how GREAT he is. We have a big, blue sky today everyone. Jim is the absolute best. I was seeing him for about a year before I moved away from the Bay Area. I still come back for work about once/month and I always make time for a massage with Jim while I'm there. Jim has really catered the massage to exactly what I need. He knows what my body needs and customizes the massage for each visit depending on what needs the most work on that visit. I've tried other massage therapists in my area, but nothing compares. HIGHLY recommend!

The massage I received was absolutely outstanding! From the moment I walked into the warm, inviting room, I felt at ease. The temperature was perfect, creating a comfortable atmosphere that allowed me to fully relax. I scheduled a massage with Jim based on a friend’s referral. She spoke highly of his masterful touch. After my first massage because it was a girl’s day special occasion, I didn’t reach out until I had experienced residual pain from an accident. The thought of who could be the best at relieving my pain brought me back to him almost a year later. I again reached out and was not surprised that my pain shifted after. He found my pain points and appointment by appointment, addressed them and the pain is working it’s way out through every session and every limb. It has taken consistency (weekly), but the pain literally moves its way out of my body and is well worth it. Prior to my massage he asks what he should be aware of and then works to alleviate my ailments. He is methodical, knowledgeable, and always in a positive spiritual vibe that leads to a person walking out relaxed, fresh and in positive energy. I highly recommend his services!

If you’re looking for a reliable and professional massage therapist then Jimmy at 1 touch relaxed is the place to go. I went to Jimmy because I had knee pain for the past week or so . I explained to him what had happen and he gave me the reassurance that I needed. He went on to explain what caused the pain on my knee and even went on to explain to me how he intended to get it feeling all better. I trusted him and his process and let me tell you , Jimmy is a master at his craft. I’ve never felt more relaxed and pain free than after a session with Jimmy and his magical hands. Jim is a rather attentive massage therapist. He does a great job relieving tension in the areas I ask him to focus on and also is good at picking up on the specific parts of the muscles that need work. I work a desk job and he does a great job reliving the back/neck/shoulder tensions that easily build up for me.

Jim is seriously a miracle worker. I have chronic pain that especially affects my neck and back. My sessions with him are the only thing that provide any lasting relief. It’s clear when you feel his massages how skilled and knowledgeable he is, and he’s also incredibly thoughtful and will check in with you on pressure so that you’re getting the massage you want. Cannot recommend him enough!

Jim is wondrful! I've been looking for a regular massage therapist in the East Bay for some time and Jim has checked all the boxes! 1) Relaxing enviroment 2) Heated massage bed 3) great smelling and non-oily lotion 4) great presure and responsive to feedback during the session of more or less 5) technique unmatched in the Bay - so smooth and fluid! I tend to drift off during the sessions as it completely relaxing my body AND mind. 6) starts off each session with a conversation about issues areas or areas to avoide 7) Jim is an incredebly respectful and thoughtful person 8) gives you the science behind what he will focus on and how it connects to your issue areas Honestly, this is the best therapist that you will find in ALL of Oakland - and belive me, I've looked! I've been going to soley Jim for a little over a year now at least once a month. Initally it was to work out a lot of issue areas I had, but now that we worked through those pain points and he has given me the tools to help with my posture - it's purely for my wellness and is such a joy everytime. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would!

I’ve gotten massages once a month for almost ten years and I was blown away by my experience here. Jim is so kind and has such an inviting energy, and although it was as intense and strong as a normal deep tissue massage, it was somehow more relaxing. The trigger point style definitely released a lot of energy and I am excited to continue with this style. The whole day after I felt like I was 15 pounds lighter. Thank you Jim!!! Amazing work
